I have always been hyper aware of problems growing in our environment, and most recently I stumbled upon the organization SAVE THE MERMAIDS. This organization's goal is to help educate others about our oceans to protect and preserve the health of marine life. Most recently I have pledged along with SAVE THE MERMAIDS to go plastic FREE for July and I am inviting you all to join me! This isn't easy since plastic is in nearly EVERYTHING we use! I gave up plastic bottles awhile ago due to the chemicals present in them, you can read more about that here (Ditch the Plastic!) but plastic is a huge reason why so many marine animals are suffering and dying. It is our duty to take better care of our Earth, and our home, so take the pledge to save our oceans and SAVE THE MERMAIDS!
